BALL & BEATS FESTIVAL by Ortel Mobile
What a day! ❤️
Around 1,000 visitors joined us at our BALL & BEATS FESTIVAL 2026 at Motorworld Cologne on 1 August, coming together to enjoy a day full of football, music, culture and community.
At 1 pm, the starting whistle blew for our football tournament. Eight teams, four coaches and packed stands brought plenty of energy to the court right from the start. And there was lots more to explore around the venue too, including retro football shirts, a speed court, table tennis, table football, tooth gems and much more.
There was plenty happening off the pitch as well. Relaxed day-party vibes filled both the indoor and outdoor areas, with music, food & drinks, braids & barber services, personalised jewellery and face painting for children. Most importantly, though, the day was all about bringing people together, meeting new faces and celebrating our community.
A special part of the day once again was our collaboration with Buy Food with Plastic®. Their team travelled all the way from Switzerland and Ghana to share their work and projects in Ghana with our community. One of the key topics was the planned large-scale recycling project in Elmina. During the event, we were also able to raise donations for their projects and make a small contribution towards a great cause together. 🌍♻️
From 8 pm onwards, it was time for FROM THE FIELD TO THE STAGE. For our very first block party, the football court was transformed into a stage, featuring live performances by Omar Jatta, Bad Begs and Aisha Vibes, alongside our DJs who kept the atmosphere going well into the night. 🎶🔥
We launched BALL & BEATS FESTIVAL in 2025 to connect even more closely with our audience, strengthen our community and showcase Ortel Mobile in a unique and truly immersive way. After two editions, we can confidently say it has been more than worth it. The fantastic feedback, the countless connections made and our ever-growing community already have us looking forward to BALL & BEATS 2027.
