How to book your 5G data plan
Option 1:
in the app
- click on ‘Options’ in the menu bar
- select a category.
- select an option and click on ‘Next’.
- read through the details and click on ‘Next’ when you have decided on an option
- then click on ‘Order for a fee’.
Note: If you do not have enough credit, please top it up first. To do this, click on ‘Top up credit now’ and use the 16-digit credit card or click here. - the successful option change will be confirmed by SMS.
Option 2:
via our MeinOrtel customer portal
- go to ‘Tariffs’ in the menu bar and click on ‘Book option’.
- select a category (click on ‘Expand button’).
- select an option and click on ‘Expand button’.
- read the details carefully and click on ‘Book option’. Don't worry, the option is not yet booked. Note: If your credit is not sufficient, please top it up first. To do this, click on ‘Top up’ in the menu bar and use the 16-digit credit voucher or click here.
- then click on ‘Order with costs’.
- the successful option change will be confirmed by SMS.

What is 5G?
5G refers to the current mobile communications standard. This standard replaces its predecessor 4G. Nowadays, the abbreviation 4G is often equated with LTE (‘Long Term Evolution’). Check our network coverage map to see if 5G is available in your area. If your smartphone displays the 5G icon at the top of the screen, you have 5G connectivity.
