Should your data allowance run out, you have two options to stay online. This way you have complete control over your prepaid home internet at all times – without any contract period or hidden costs.
Option 1
You can use the "SURF" Tariff option at any time and as often as you want.& Rebook “GO” for €29.99 via MeinOrtel or in the Ortel Mobile app and start again with a full 150 GB of data. In this case, the option period of 4 weeks also starts anew.
Option 2
Alternatively, you can purchase an additional 10 GB for €14.99 via the Ortel Mobile app , which you can use within the existing option period.

Do you want to cancel your Tariff option ? Simply switch to the standard tariff. This will automatically end your active option.

Home internet: How many Mbps do I need?
How fast your home internet connection should be depends heavily on your usage habits. Do you enjoy streaming the latest movie highlights in HD? Should this also work smoothly even if someone else in your household is on the phone or playing exciting games online at the same time? With LTE you're on the safe side, because ideally you can stream and surf at speeds of up to 500MBit per second. For many everyday applications, however, even 25 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s is easily sufficient.
The WLAN router establishes a wireless connection to the internet via your provider's mobile network. Tip: If you choose Ortel Mobile 's internet from the wall socket, you will use Telefónica's fast mobile network for data transmission.

Common questions about switching to the standard plan
How can I cancel my plan?
It is not necessary to cancel the tariff separately. If you want to cancel your tariff, simply switch to the standard tariff (“Pay-Go”). Your active plan will be automatically terminated as a result.
What happens after switching to the standard rate?
After the change, you can use your tariff without a package or fixed inclusive services. You then only pay for the services that you actually use.
Can I book a rate again later?
Yes, you can book a new rate again at any time — conveniently via the Ortel mobile app, via SMS or via the hotline.
