How to stay online: Flexibility with SURF & GO
If your data allowance is exhausted, you have two options to stay online. This way, you have control over your prepaid home internet at all times – with no contract term or hidden costs.
Option 1
You can use the Tariff option “SURF & GO" for €29.99 via MeinOrtel or in the Ortel Mobile app and start again with a full 120 GB of data volume. In this case, the option period of 4 weeks will start again.
Option 2
Alternatively, you can add an additional 10 GB for €14.99 via the Ortel Mobile app , which you can use within the existing option period.

Internet for home: How many Mbit do I need?
How fast your home internet should be depends largely on your usage habits. Do you like streaming the latest movie highlights in HD? Do you want this to work smoothly even if someone else in your household is on the phone or playing exciting games online at the same time? With LTE you are on the safe side, because ideally you can stream and surf at up to 500Mbit/s per second. However, for many everyday applications, even 25 Mbit/s to 50 Mbit/s are easily sufficient.
The WLAN router establishes a wireless connection to the Internet via your provider’s mobile network. Tip: If you choose internet from the Ortel Mobile outlet, you will use Telefónica's fast mobile network for data transmission.
