Mystery and thrills: Polish Netflix series “Signs”

Watching thrilling Netflix series has become a regular pastime for many series fans. The countries in which they are produced are becoming increasingly diverse. The series “Signs” comes from Poland and is set in a small village.

Police chief Michal Trela has to solve a complicated murder case. The circumstances of the crime are reminiscent of an earlier case that occurred in the village during the Second World War. A short time later, another victim is found. The inspector discovers that the small inconspicuous village harbours some dark secrets. During his investigation, the police chief encounters a web of lies and intrigues - no one in the village seems to be interested in solving the crimes.

The Owl Mountains set the scene The Owl Mountains in southwestern Poland, with their green landscapes and enchanted hillls form the backdrop for the chase after the murderer who committed the mysterious crimes. The small villages are the perfect stage for the plot. Old buildings and uncommunicative inhabitants suggest that there are many secrets here that no one is to get to the bottom of. This is the background for the inspector’s investigations and the unravelling of several mysteries, as there are not many people willing to help solve the crimes.
