Cultural association Deutsch-Polnische-Gesellschaft e.V.

The German-Polish Society e.V. cultural association in Hamburg has guided dialogue between the people of the two nations since 1972 with over 300 members. It promotes cultural, political, economic and human relations between Germans and Poles. Its goal in the initial years has been, through joint events with its Polish partners (Polish days in Hamburg, Hamburg days in Danzig, etc.) to overcome the lack of dialogue between the war generation and the first post-war generation.
