The "Gdańska" Polish Restaurant and Culture Cafe was opened in Oberhausen in 2000, enlarged in 2005 by two more rooms and in 2006 the expansion was completed by a small room. So the Gdanska (which means Gdansk) is the name of the whole tri-city: Gdanska, Sopot, Gdynia plus the small town of Hel (Hela). In "Gdańska" there is also a small theatre stage "Theatre G". The equipment of the theatre allows various events to be performed: Theater, Cinema, Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.
