The Deutsch-Polnische Gesellschaft Hannover e.V. was founded in 1979 with the objective of fostering understanding and reconciliation with the Polish population and therefore promoting peace throughout the world. Presenting an unbiased image of Poland, its history, its problems and its relations and thereby dispelling prejudices is an objective set by the Deutsch-Polnische Gesellschaft Hannover e.V.
