Dr Refaat Ismail is a scientist in a crisis. His research results on blood diseases are being questioned. Ismail actually only believes in things that are logical and understandable. Now he is put to a tough test. Because one day, strange mythical creatures and ghosts cross his path. And that is not all: These strange creatures are becoming more and more vicious - they are targeting humans. Ismail is confused and does not have a clue how to deal with the fantasy creatures. But then he accepts the challenge and tries to uncover the secrets of the strange beings. The situation becomes more and more threatening and Ismail now has to protect his family as well. However, the scientist has another problem. He fosters strong feelings for his former fellow student Maggie McKillop, who is helping him with the investigations. Only, she has no idea.
Tricky puzzles with a touch of creepiness The series plays in the 60s. The nostalgic pictures immerse the viewers in times gone by. “Panranormal” confers a good scare. However, the series is by no means a horror shocker, because it is not brutal. Rather, it is about the uncanny adventures encountered by Dr Ismail (played by Ahmed Amin). The producers of "Paranormal" do not spread fear or terror. The mystery is in the foreground - the viewer, just like the two scientists, is constantly busy trying to decipher a new riddle.
