The somewhat unconventional Kultur- und Karnevals- Gesellschaft Bönnsche Chinese e.V. in Bonn is a charitable association and, so far, one of a kind in Germany. The organisation aims to maintain and promote the Rhineland’s carnival traditions and to support positive German/Chinese relations, focusing in particular on joint celebrations of traditional Chinese cultural events.
