Dante Alighieri Gesellschaft Nürnberg e.V. in Nürnberg

The “Dante Alighieri Gesellschaft Rom” was founded in 1889 on the initiative of a group of intellectuals led by writer Giosuè Carducci. According to article 1 of its statute, its primary objective is to uphold and promote the Italian language and culture throughout the world, to revive the spiritual union between Italians living abroad and their homeland and instil in foreigners a love of Italian culture and civilisation.
