The German Italianists Association - Association for Italian in Science and Teaching e.V. in Hamburg represents a broad approach to Italian studies, which integrates linguistic, literary, cultural and didactic approaches. It is open to all those who want to participate from high school to university and beyond in the objective formulated in the club constitution "to promote the Italian language, literature and culture in research and teaching, to contribute to their dissemination in German-speaking countries and observe institutional interests in Italian studies".
