The Chinese equivalent of what is known in Western culture as “chess” is “Xiangqi”. Both games have the same roots. The DXB is the amalgamation of associations, players’ communities and individual players who see Xiangqi as a competitive sport. The objective of the association is to maintain, promote and increase the popularity of Xiangqi by organising national and international tournaments.
