Since 2012 Polish footballers living in Germany have had the opportunity to play together in a team in Berlin. FC Polonia offers its members a lot of fun and a possibility of integration of Poles into Berlin.

FC Polonia was founded by two huge and long-time football fans: Adrian Tomaszewski and Marcin Klimek. In 2012 they had the idea to found a football team consisting of Poles living in Germany. The two football fans organised an initial meeting, to which only 7 people came. With time the club became more well-known, above all word got around in the internet about the new football club in Berlin. As a result, a Facebook page was created, on which members and potential players could communicate better. More and more footballers became interested in the club and came to the training sessions for FC Polonia.  The next step was to register the team. In October 2012 the founding meeting of the club was held, in which the name FC Polonia Berlin was chosen for the team unanimously. The number of founding members was 14 people. The club was later officially registered and so FC Polonia could also hunt for a playing field. The goal of the club is first and foremost fun, sporting competition, being a worthy representative of Poland on the playing fields, as well as the integration of Poles into Berlin.
