In 2007 Inna Sokolova-Gordon founded a theatre studio for children in Berlin. From this studio then developed the Russkaja Szena, the only Russian-speaking theatre with professionally trained actors outside the former USSR. In addition to many Russians who live in Berlin and of course like to watch plays in their native language, Germans with an enthusiasm for the Russian language and their literary classics visit the Russian stage.
