The Polish University of Three Generations (UDG) was set up in Berlin on the initiative of the Berliner Verein Policultura e.V. represented by Mr. Boguslaw Fleck. The idea behind the foundation of the UDG arose in response to the current discussion about Polish migrants in Germany who are described as “invisible migrants”. The UDG is intended to serve, among other things, to make the Polish language “visible and audible” in Berlin’s public life. The UDG is proof of the active contribution of Berlin’s citizens with Polish roots to the cultural and intellectual life of the German capital.
