First, make sure that the mobile data is activated.
If this is not the case, your mobile phone cannot establish a connection.
How to activate mobile data on Android devices:
(steps may vary depending on the manufacturer)
• open your smartphone settings
• go to “Wireless and Networks” or “Connections”
• here you can choose between different settings. Tap on “Data Usage”
• Tick or activate the "Mobile data connection” slider
How to activate mobile data on iOS devices:
• open the settings of your smartphone
• go to “General".
• select "Mobile Network".
• activate the slider under “Mobile Data”
Receive settings via SMS
If mobile data is activated and you still can't access the Internet with your Ortel SIM card, the APN settings may be wrong. You can simply have them sent to you. Just send an SMS with the word “mobile” to the free short code 80215. You will receive a configuration message. Open this message and select “install”. The settings are then automatically installed.
